Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Bit weird that Wilder has let the obligation expire. All points to him running scared from Fury.

I thought he would at least hold out for some money to step aside for Joshua

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
It was a joke that that clause for a third fight was made. Wilder's been outboxed twice ffs.

Bring on AJ v Fury next year - cant wait (Fury will win)

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Surely they will wait for the fans to return or at least a percentage and it has to be fought in the UK

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Can't see Wilder doing anything differently to take the 3rd fight unless he carries a gun into the ring with him.

My guess is nor can Wilder and his team either,

Wilders a big dosser, that’s why.

I'm not sure we'll be seeing Fury v AJ fight in the UK. I reckon it's got Saudi written all over it with big fat pound signs.

They probably won't care too much about Covid either and will pack people into a stadium.

Hardly running scared ffs, would you fancy getting wrapped up like that again?

Looks to me like he is scared and realise he can’t beat fury

Good.

I don't mind the occaisional rematch but 3 fights is taking the piss.

Only shame is that Fury likely to face a bum now but hopefully it brings us closer to him knocking out AJ.

Also, don't they make most of their money from PPV?

Ali v Frasier III wasn't bad.

The 3 Ward vs Gatti fights weren't too shabby either.

He's just split from his trainer, there's not much time between now and December, he's made the right decision.

Wouldn't say he's running scared, more so he wants to be prepared properly.

both of those were 1-1 after 2, were matched opponents and leading to some of the all time best ever boxing matches.

the point stands- 3 wilder Fury fights is taking the piss. No one is interested

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
You had the Barrera vs Morales trilogy around about the same time as the Ward vs Gatti fights.

For me, it's difficult to split those trilogies. What a time it was to be a boxing fan.

Was Ward vs Gatti a trilogy?

Brain has gone to shit this morning.

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Block. He is a professional boxer who knew the fight was coming. In fact insisted on the clause. He should be practically ready now (wasn’t the original date about now?). Adding a new trainer for the last two months of your training camp to hone skills and tactics is no excuse. To be honest I haven’t seen him use that as an excuse either, just that he keeps trying to push the date back.

J son, hasn't he just had an op on an injury too?

Re: Fury v Wilder III obligation has expired
Havent read nothing on that either mate? To be fair all the press I’ve read has been from fury’s camp. Which is a bit weird in itself.

Israel Vazquez v Rafael Marquez is the best trilogy you will ever witness.

number 4 was a bit of a let down.

Pacquiao v JMM was a pretty spectacular trilogy as well.
